CDI offers environmental contracting services to mining, oil and gas, pipeline construction, departments of transportation and land development, and various branches of the federal government. CDI is a pioneer in soil stabilization and the re-vegetation of challenging sites throughout the arid, semi-arid and high altitude regions of the western United States.
As a Contracting and Resource Staffing company with multiple work sites across diverse sectors, CDI struggled to combine information scattered into Excel spreadsheets and Outlook accounts, and was seeking seamless customer information integration across its departments. After another local Salesforce Implementation Partner failed to produce any tangible results in 35 hours, CDI needed quick, effective Salesforce Rescue. Additionally, CDI was looking for a way to integrate data that didn’t always sync up between all users company-wide. CDI needed client, dump site, and development site information consolidated into one cohesive resource, so that all system users could access it at any time. Finally, with multiple work sites and fluid distribution scenarios where materials from one customer site often needed to be distributed to another, CDI required a real-time mapping solution to coordinate workflow and routing.
CRMCulture moved quickly to automate CDI’s business processes, in less than a third of the time of the previous effort. Utilizing Salesforce Sales Cloud, CDI was able to consolidate their disparate sources of contact information into a single master source. CRMCulture’s efficient Sales Cloud implementation created a one-stop source for usable, dependable and up-to-date data for all CDI users, accessible at any time. To meet CDI’s need for a real-time mapping solution, CRMCulture implemented MapAnything, an App Exchange solution that provides territory management, proximity-based searching, and visualization maps. With MapAnything, CDI could optimize travel routes and view real-time traffic.
Through CRMCulture’s rapid Sales Cloud implementation, CDI was able to streamline and automate many of its business processes, allowing the company to handle its diverse customers and job sites with agility. The company succeeding in fundamentally shifting the way it manages large scale projects, improving and greatly expanding collaboration between departments. Lastly, the CDI team can match up needs at various development sites, managing its routing requirements to reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency.
